White Sox Sign John Mayberry Jr.
The Chicago White Sox signed first baseman/outfielder John Mayberry Jr. to a minor league contract. Mayberry, 31, has played in 574 career games for the Phillies, Blue Jays, and Mets. He has a career batting average of .235 with 56 home runs and 180 runs batted in.
