Brewers Claim Dominguez Off Waivers, Designate Wang for Assignment
The Milwaukee Brewers claimed infielder Matt Dominguez off waivers from the Houston Astros. Dominguez, 25, has played in 357 career games for the Marlins and Astros. He has a career batting average of .233 with 42 home runs and 152 runs batted in. To make room, the Brewers designated pitcher Wei-Chung Wang for assignment. Wang, 23, made his Major League debut with the Brewers in the 2014 season. In 14 games, he did not register a decision, but he had a 10.90 ERA.
