Orioles Designate Everth Cabrera for Assignment
The Baltimore Orioles designated infielder Everth Cabrera for assignment. Cabrera, 28, has played in 510 career games for the Padres and Orioles. He has a career batting average of .246 with 12 home runs and 132 runs batted in. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2013 as a member of the San Diego Padres.
