Mariners, Rays Swap Pitchers

The Seattle Mariners acquired pitcher Mike Montgomery from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for pitcher Erasmo Ramirez. Montgomery, 25, has yet to make his Major League debut. He spent the 2014 season with Triple-A Durham. In 25 games, he compiled a record of (10-5) with a 4.29 ERA. Ramirez, 24, has pitched in 47 career games for the Mariners. He has a career record of (7-12) with a 4.62 ERA.
