Adam Wainwright to Miss Rest of Season
St. Louis Cardinals' pitcher Adam Wainwright will miss the remainder of the 2015 season due to a torn Achilles tendon. Wainwright, 33, has pitched in 284 career games for the Cardinals. He has a career record of (121-67) with a 2.98 ERA and three saves. He has pitched 21 complete games in his career and nine of them were shutouts. He is a three-time All Star selection, a two-time Gold Glove Award winner, and he won the World Series in 2006.
