Royals Extend Yordano Ventura
The Kansas City Royals signed pitcher Yordano Ventura to a five-year extension. The deal includes options for the 2020 and 2021 seasons and is worth $23 million guaranteed. Ventura, 23, has pitched in 34 career games for the Royals. He has a career record of (14-11) with a 3.22 ERA.
