Athletics Sign Joe Paterson
The Oakland Athletics signed pitcher Joe Paterson to a minor league contract. Paterson, 29, has pitched in 73 career games for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has a career record of (0-3) with a 6.25 ERA and one save. He was recently released by the Kansas City Royals.
