Braves Sign Ryan Lavarnway
The Atlanta Braves signed catcher Ryan Lavarnway to a minor league contract. Lavarnway, 27, has played in 107 career games for the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles. He has a career batting average of .192 with five home runs and 34 runs batted in.
