Dodgers Release Mike Carp
The Los Angeles Dodgers released first baseman/outfielder Mike Carp. Carp, 28, has played in 318 career games for the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, and Texas Rangers. He has a career batting average of .254 with 27 home runs and 127 runs batted in. He won the World Series in 2013 as a member of the Boston Red Sox.
