Giants Sign Everth Cabrera
The San Francisco Giants signed infielder Everth Cabrera to a minor league contract. Cabrera, 28, has played in 510 career games for the Padres and Orioles. He has a career batting average of .246 with 12 home runs and 132 runs batted in. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2013 season as a member of the San Diego Padres.
