Twins Acquire Kevin Jepsen
The Minnesota Twins acquired pitcher Kevin Jepsen from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for pitchers Chih-Wei Hu and Alexis Tapia. Jepsen, 31, has pitched in 361 career games for the Angels and Rays. He has a career record of (15-23) with a 3.80 ERA and 10 saves. Hu, 21, has split this season with Class-A Fort Myers and Triple-A Rochester. In 16 games, he has compiled a record of (6-3) with a 2.38 ERA. Tapia, 19, has split this season with Elizabethton and Class-A Fort Myers. In eight games, he has compiled a record of (1-2) with a 3.60 ERA.
