The New York Yankees signed pitcher Jared Burton to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Burton, 33, has pitched in 367 career games for the Cincinnati Reds and Minnesota Twins. He has a career record of (18-19) with a 3.44 ERA and 10 saves.
