Cardinals Sign Carlos Villanueva
The St. Louis Cardinals signed pitcher Carlos Villanueva to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Villanueva, 31, has pitched in 390 career games for the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, and Chicago Cubs. He has a career record of (45-50) with a 4.26 ERA and eight saves.
