Rays Sign Jake Elmore
The Tampa Bay Rays signed infielder Jake Elmore to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Elmore, 27, has played in 87 career games for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Houston Astros, and Cincinnati Reds. He has a career batting average of .221 with two home runs and 13 runs batted in.
