Rockies Sign John Axford
The Colorado Rockies signed pitcher John Axford to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Axford, 31, has pitched in 343 career games for the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He has a career record of (24-23) with a 3.40 ERA and 116 saves.
