Rangers Release Scott Cousins
The Texas Rangers released outfielder Scott Cousins. Cousins, 30, has played in 135 career games for the Marlins and Angels. He has a career batting average of .179 with two home runs and nine runs batted in. Not known by many, Cousins can be remembered for the infamous collision in the 2011 season when he ran over Giants' catcher Buster Posey, who broke his leg and missed the rest of the season.
