Mets Acquire Jerry Blevins
The New York Mets acquired pitcher Jerry Blevins from the Washington Nationals in exchange for outfielder Matt den Dekker. Blevins, 31, has pitched in 345 career games for the Oakland Athletics and Nationals. He has a career record of (15-9) with a 3.58 ERA and two saves. Den Dekker, 27, split the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Mets. In 80 games, he has a career batting average of .238 with one home run and 13 runs batted in.
