Reds Acquire Dan Johnson
The Cincinnati Reds acquired first baseman Dan Johnson from the Houston Astros in exchange for cash considerations or a player to be named later. Johnson, 35, has played in 431 career games for the Athletics, Rays, White Sox, Orioles, and Blue Jays. He has a career batting average of .236 with 57 home runs and 201 runs batted in.
