Rangers Release Ryan Ludwick
The Texas Rangers released outfielder Ryan Ludwick. Ludwick, 36, has played in 1065 career games for the Rangers, Indians, Cardinals, Padres, Pirates, and Reds. He has a career batting average of .260 with 154 home runs and 587 runs batted in. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2008 as a member of the Cardinals. He also won a Silver Slugger Award that year.
