A's Claim Hassan Off Waivers
The Oakland Athletics claimed outfielder Alex Hassan off waivers from the Boston Red Sox. Hassan, 26, got his first taste of big league action with the Red Sox in 2014. He had one hit in nine at bats during the span of three games.
