Rays Sign Ernesto Frieri
The Tampa Bay Rays signed pitcher Ernesto Frieri to a one-year contract. Frieri, 29, has pitched in 276 career games with the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Angels, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He has a career record of (10-13) with a 3.46 ERA and 71 saves.
