Yankees Sign Kyle Davies
The New York Yankees signed pitcher Kyle Davies. Davies, 31, has pitched in 151 career games for the Atlanta Braves and Kansas City Royals. He has a career record of (43-65) with a 5.59 ERA. He has pitched three-career complete games. He also has not appeared in a Major League game since the 2011 season. To make room, the Yankees designated pitcher Matt Tracy for assignment. Tracy, 26, made his Major League debut with the Yankees this season. In one game, he gave up three unearned runs in two innings of work.
