Chris Perez Opts Out
Pitcher Chris Perez has opted out of his minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers and is now a free agent. Perez, 29, has pitched in 393 career games for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, and Los Angeles Dodgers. He has a career record of (16-24) with a 3.51 ERA and 133 saves. He is a two-time All Star selection, having been selected to the All Star Games in 2011 and 2012 as a member of the Indians.
