Diamondbacks Release Cody Ross
The Arizona Diamondbacks released outfielder Cody Ross. Ross, 34, has played in 1064 career games for the Tigers, Dodgers, Reds, Marlins, Giants, Red Sox, and Diamondbacks. He has a career batting average of .263 with 132 home runs and 505 runs batted in. He was the MVP of the National League Championship Series in 2010. That same year, he won the World Series with the San Francisco Giants.
