Mariners Sign Carlos Quentin
The Seattle Mariners signed outfielder Carlos Quentin to a minor league contract. Quentin, 32, has played in 834 career games for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, and San Diego Padres. He has a career batting average of .252 with 154 home runs and 491 runs batted in. He is a two-time All Star selection and he won a Silver Slugger Award in 2008.
