Blue Jays Sign Daric Barton
The Toronto Blue Jays signed first baseman Daric Barton to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Barton, 29, has played in 551 career games for the Oakland Athletics. He has a career batting average of .247 with 30 home runs and 184 runs batted in.
