Pirates Re-Sign Francisco Liriano
The Pittsburgh Pirates re-signed pitcher Francisco Liriano to a three-year contract worth $39 million. Liriano, 31, has pitched in 223 career games for the Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He has a career record of (76-72) with a 4.07 ERA and one save. He has also pitched three career complete games with one of them being a shutout. He was a 2006 All Star selection as a member of the Twins.
