Giants Re-Sign Jake Peavy
The San Francisco Giants re-signed pitcher Jake Peavy to a two-year contract worth $24 million. Peavy, 33, has pitched in 338 career games for the Padres, White Sox, Red Sox, and Giants. He has a career record of (139-111) with a 3.53 ERA. He has pitched 15 career complete games with six of them being shutouts. He is a three-time All Star, a one-time Gold Glove Award winner, the 2007 National League Cy Young Award winner, and a two-time World Series champion.
