Cubs Sign Jonathan Herrera
The Chicago Cubs signed infielder Jonathan Herrera to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Herrera, 30, has played in 417 career games with the Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox. He has a career batting average of .263 with eight home runs and 75 runs batted in.
