Nationals Sign Max Scherzer
The Washington Nationals signed pitcher Max Scherzer to a seven-year contract. Scherzer, 30, has pitched in 207 career games for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Detroit Tigers. He has a career record of (91-50) with a 3.58 ERA. He pitched a complete-game shutout in 2014 with the Tigers. He is a two-time All Star and he was the 2013 American League Cy Young Award winner.
