Giants Sign John Bowker
The San Francisco Giants signed outfielder John Bowker to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Bowker, 31, has played in 240 career games for the San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Philadelphia Phillies. He has a career batting average of .232 with 17 home runs and 73 runs batted in.
