Padres Sign Ramiro Pena
The San Diego Padres signed infielder Ramiro Pena to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Pena, 29, has played in 311 career games for the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves. He has a career batting average of .244 with eight home runs and 53 runs batted in.
