Braves Designate Trevor Cahill for Assignment
The Atlanta Braves designated pitcher Trevor Cahill for assignment. Cahill, 27, has pitched in 201 career games for the Athletics, Diamondbacks, and Braves. He has a career record of (64-72) with a 4.16 ERA and one save. He has pitched three complete games in his career and two of them were shutouts. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2010 as a member of the Oakland Athletics.
