Chris Perez Suspended
Free agent pitcher Chris Perez has been suspended for 50 games due to use of a drug of abuse. He is a second-time offender. Perez, 29, has pitched in 393 career games for the Cardinals, Indians, and Dodgers. He has a career record of (16-24) with a 3.51 ERA and 133 saves. He is a two-time All Star selection.
