Chien-Ming Wang to Independent League
Free agent pitcher Chien-Ming Wang has signed a deal with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, an independent league team. Wang, 35, has pitched in 136 career games for the Yankees, Nationals, and Blue Jays. He has a career record of (62-34) with a 4.37 ERA and one save. He has pitched four complete games in his career and one of them was a shutout. He has not appeared in a Major League game since the 2013 season. He was recently released from the Atlanta Braves' farm system.
