Rays Sign Grady Sizemore
The Tampa Bay Rays signed outfielder Grady Sizemore to a minor league contract. Sizemore, 32, has played in 1043 career games for the Indians, Red Sox, and Phillies. He has a career batting average of .265 with 144 home runs and 491 runs batted in. He is a three-time All Star selection, a two-time Gold Glove Award winner, and a one-time Silver Slugger Award winner. He was recently released by the Philadelphia Phillies after playing in 39 games with them this season.
