Seattle Mariners Sign Nelson Cruz
The Seattle Mariners signed outfielder Nelson Cruz to a four-year contract worth $58 million. Cruz, 34, has played in 963 career games with the Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers, and Baltimore Orioles. He has a career batting average of .268 with 197 home runs and 597 runs batted in. He is also a three-time All Star selection.
