Royals Sign Ryan Madson
The Kansas City Royals signed pitcher Ryan Madson to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Madson, 34, has not pitched in the MLB since 2011. He has pitched in 491 career games for the Philadelphia Phillies. He has a career record of (47-30) with a 3.59 ERA and 52 saves. He won a World Series championship with the Phillies in 2008.
