Braves Sign Edwin Jackson

The Atlanta Braves signed pitcher Edwin Jackson to a one-year contract. Jackson, 31, has pitched in 316 career games for the Dodgers, Rays, Tigers, Diamondbacks, White Sox, Cardinals, Nationals, and Cubs. He has a career record of (86-105) with a 4.61 ERA. He has pitched five complete games in his career and three of them were shutouts, one of the shutouts being a no-hitter. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2009 season as a member of the Detroit Tigers. He also won the World Series as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2011 season.
