Royals Sign Two to Minors Deals
The Kansas City Royals signed pitchers Joba Chamberlain and Wandy Rodriguez to minor league contracts. Chamberlain, 29, has pitched in 359 career games for the Yankees and Tigers. He has a career record of (25-21) with a 3.82 ERA and seven saves. He won the World Series as a member of the New York Yankees in the 2009 season. Rodriguez, 36, has pitched in 275 career games for the Astros, Pirates, and Rangers. He has a career record of (97-98) with a 4.10 ERA. He has pitched two complete games in his career and both of them have been shutouts.
