Cubs Sign Emilio Bonifacio
The Chicago Cubs signed infielder/outfielder Emilio Bonifacio to a minor league contract. Bonifacio, 30, has played in 769 career games for the Diamondbacks, Nationals, Marlins, Blue Jays, Royals, Cubs, Braves, and White Sox. He has a career batting average of .259 with 13 home runs and 159 runs batted in. He was recently released by the White Sox.
