Athletics Claim Danny Valencia Off Waivers
The Oakland Athletics claimed infielder Danny Valencia off waivers from the Blue Jays. Valencia, 30, has played in 479 career games for the Twins, Red Sox, Orioles, Royals, and Blue Jays. He has a career batting average of .266 with 44 home runs and 215 runs batted in.
