Braves Sign Matt Capps
The Atlanta Braves signed pitcher Matt Capps to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Capps, 31, has pitched in 444 career games for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals, and Minnesota Twins. He has a career record of (29-33) with a 3.52 ERA and 138 saves. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2010 as a member of the Nationals.
