Diamondbacks Sign Cody Ransom
The Arizona Diamondbacks signed infielder Cody Ransom to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Ransom, 39, has played in 383 career games for the San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, and Chicago Cubs. He has a career batting average of .213 with 30 home runs and 105 runs batted in.
