Orioles Sign Jayson Nix
The Baltimore Orioles signed infielder Jayson Nix to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Nix, 32, has played in 466 career games for the Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Kansas City Royals. He has a career batting average of .212 with 38 home runs and 130 runs batted in.
