Wily Mo Pena to Japan
The Rakuten Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball signed outfielder Wily Mo Pena to a one-year contract with an option for the 2016 season. Pena, 33, has played in 599 career games for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, Washington Nationals, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Seattle Mariners. He has a career batting average of .250 with 84 home runs and 240 runs batted in.
