Rangers Sign Ryan Ludwick
The Texas Rangers signed outfielder Ryan Ludwick to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Ludwick, 36, has played in 1065 career games for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Cincinnati Reds. He has a career batting average of .260 with 154 home runs and 587 runs batted in. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2008 as a member of the Cardinals. He also won a Silver Slugger Award that year.
