Indians Sign Bruce Chen
The Cleveland Indians signed pitcher Bruce Chen to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Chen, 37, has pitched in 398 career games for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds, Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, and Kansas City Royals. He has a career record of (82-80) with a 4.58 ERA and one save. He pitched four career complete games and one of them was a shutout.
