Nationals Designate Eric Fornataro for Assignment

The Washington Nationals designated pitcher Eric Fornataro for assignment. Fornataro, 27, made his Major League debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2014. In eight games, he did not record a decision, but he had a 4.66 ERA.
