Wilson Betemit Suspended
Free agent infielder Wilson Betemit was suspended 50 games after he failed an amphetamine test. Betemit, 33, has played in 805 career games for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, and Baltimore Orioles. He has a career batting average of .267 with 75 home runs and 283 runs batted in.
